My Fabulous Garden

My Story

I studied Horticulture at Stratford Upon Avon College during my early twenties, but then decided to opt for a different career.

For a number of years before my redundancy, I looked after my elderly neighbour’s garden and this inspired me and rejuvenated my passion for plant life.

I needed something quite different and something with much less stress to earn an income from and to gain a great deal of satisfaction from too.

Creating, designing and garden maintainance was the answer. It would help to keep me fit and help reduce my stress and improve my health too.

It also offered me the opportunity to use my creative skills to design gardens, plant and then maintain them. I’m passionate about what I do and everyday, I never think that I’m going to work because I do something that I love (and I’m grateful for that).

Investment

My clients tend to be people who wish to invest in their green spaces. To make their garden more appealing and have someone create beautiful, interesting spaces that are functional and attractive.

Marketing

My clients tend to be professionals or retired professionals who typically have medium to large gardens and lead active lives and don't have a great deal of available time. They want someone reliable, honest and trustworthy to keep their garden and property in good order, thoughout the year.

Communications

If communications don't happen in person, then we can use either Facebook to send information back and forth or email. This is useful as messages can be read from anywhere you have an interent connection for your mobile, tablet or PC. Post each session I send a progress update.

Client Satisfaction

I always want feedback to ensure that things are on-track and if not, how we can put them right. Over time, clients trust my judgement and experience and give me the freedom to make the most of their budget and keep them appraised of progress and new opportunities.
